- Green mark with Arabic “halal” and Thai “ฮาลาล”
- Certificate number
- Expiry date
CICOT inspects ingredients, suppliers, kitchen layout, and handling. Certificates expire. A faded sticker from three years ago is not current proof.
What CICOT does not mean
It does not mean the restaurant is fancy, cheap, or good. It means the kitchen passed an audit. Taste is a separate question — that is why we still write reviews.
